About Me
My academic interests extend over many fields, but calling it "Mechanical Design, energy, and Transportation" is probably a good approximation. I've worked in clean energy, electrical systems, thermal power generation, overhaul freight assembly lines, heat pipes, Baja SAE race vehicles, and large steel structures, among other projects. Apart from my appointment as a Teaching Assistant under Professor Kai-Wan Tak, I recently published my master's thesis on developing a novel mechanical metamaterial under the guidance of Professor Yaning Li.

Beyond the technical realm, I always look for new, exciting texts to dive into as the world around me reshapes with every page read. I might spend hours sculpting my body in the gym and occasionally try my hand at new flavors in the kitchen.

I find myself amid a good story, enjoying an artistic work, or otherwise inspired by experience or the outside world. I recently developed a niche for hiking.

Work Experience
Academic excellence is the recipe for a rewarding career. I have never shied away from taking the initiative and facing challenges that hone my skills. To leverage the innate potential within me, I have always found ways to implement the skills as part of it. I have gained the following work experience.
Projects
I have mastered the skills of time management, optimal resource sweating, tactful planning, and effort channelization by working on various projects with various people. I always cherish each project I have been part of because working in a company comes with many resources and readily available guidance, but being a student and working on each project taught me to be pragmatic.
Question: Consider a cork of a wine bottle made of an auxetic material(negative Poisson's ratio). Will this consideration help the performance of the cork?

Hint: The Poisson's ratio of cork material is almost zero.
